Yes, im not expecting a decent wine, hopefully drinkable though. I ended up with 7 stainless kegs, so i think im going to try and age in one of those. Still need to rebuild 4 of them though. Or i might just get another 6 gal carboy, or 6.5 so i can fit some oak in there. Thanks for the welcome...

Thanks everyone! Its a cab sav blend, and those are my two favorite wines along with zin. Im not expecting alot, and can wait and leave it in bottles or a carboy for a while so that fine with me. Time to purchase and get started! :ib

Hi, i have been reading a while and finally decided to join. I make beer and im ready to start wine. I found a 'Reserve Du Chateau' kit that sounds good and its only about $57 for a 6 gallon batch. Are these ok quality kits for starting off with? and is the price fair? Thanks Zack
