    Good luck to you, but I don;t think this will work. Kiesesol is colloidal silica. I don't think you can make a colloid by grinding crystalline silica.     That is an amazing accomplishment, which, to be honest, I thought would never work. My institution is a major player in LIGO. My colleague/friend is the current spokesperson for LIGO -- Had him and a half dozen other LIGO scientists over for my housewarming party the other day.

    IMHO, the fizziness doesn't matter. The fizziness will probably go away pretty quickly (well, as quickly as for any other degassing wine). Other than the gas, I don't have any reason to think the WINE itself has a short shelf life.
