    This Year’s Plumeria Wine

It will be 2 years this coming September. Lost a bunch of plants but now I’ve got a nice bunch. I had tons of mango blossoms this winter, but the trees shed quite a few from wind etc. I’m hoping to get enough to make a few batches of mango wine. Place is pretty much back to normal. Yeah...

    This Year’s Plumeria Wine

Last year I made a one gallon batch of plumeria flower wine that was outstanding. Got the nerve to try flower wine from BigDaveK. So I figured I had enough flowers for a 2 gallon batch this year. . I think I had 132 blossoms in there. I forgot the pound of white raisins. I did add 32 oz...

    Aaaaaah !

Yeast energizer arrived this afternoon and it’s fired off nicely. Very active fermentation. I added about a dozen or so Roselle Hibiscus calyxes I had in the freezer for color and hopefully a little taste. Looks like this will be a banner year for mangos, but I don’t plan on replacing the...

    Aaaaaah !

Yeah I did just that. And since we live in Florida and not an igloo somewhere in the upper reaches of Canada Amazon says it’s coming tomorrow. I’m gonna wait on starting my yeast until tomorrow

    SECONDARY ODD SEPERATION?

What’s the hurry. It looks so much better than the initial picture. There aren’t really that much lees from initial racking into secondary. I’m more concerned about headspace. I would siphon that gallon jug into one of those larger ones to cut down headspace and let it sit for a couple more...

    SECONDARY ODD SEPERATION?

Your two smaller containers have a lot of gross lees in them. looks like foam on top from active fermentation or maybe just excess gas. Some SG readings would help. If it’s fruit wine, I would personally carefully rack again and exclude as much lees as possible. A fine strainer would help...

    Tropical punch

6 months will work. I would stick with one or 2 kinds of juice. Look for juice concentrate with water and very few If any other ingredients. Bananas, mangos , etc good. More volume of fruit than wha you have listed there. Look for frozen fruit in the freezer section. And as noted use a...
