    Cloudy wine!

    Be careful when you siphon to bottle. easy to get wispy sediment stirred up then you have sediment in your bottles. I will often rack before I bottle making not to get siphon too low and leave the bottom 1/3 of carboy for personal use so I don’t have to worry about siphoning anything unwanted...

    Plan c - combine leftover must and some lees when other 2 are done. Add some lemon and a lot of sugar

    Airlock bubbling every 5 seconds!!

    Even though many kits give you a bucket with a lid and airlock, it’s not necessary for primary fermentation. A loose lid or even a towel to cover your bucket. Once SG drops to under 1.020 you can snap down that lid or transfer to carboy with your airlock.

    What R you doing today?

    I’ll never forget the time up north when I started the lawn tractor up after a long winter. The pea seeds that the mouse had stolen all came flying out the exhaust (ping ping ping ping) then the mouse came flying out and ran away smoking.

    Cleared some space in the chest freezer. About 5 lbs of loquat and 4 1/2 of mango. In the bucket soaking and thawing. first post hurricane wine. 3 gallon batch.
