Just my first thought after looking at these ... how are they any different from the forte or tavola kits other than you get the actual grape skins from the pressing?

I've started taking screenshots of the prices of FWK kits since the middle of 2022 as I wanted to watch how the prices went up with the rapid inflation we've been having. Since the middle of 2022, the prices on the kits have gone up 11.5% using their MSRP.

Two years ago they had a BOGO sale on FWK. Last year I believe it was buy one on sale and get second half off. Both times they did this in May.

Label Peelers has a 40% off everything sale including FWK. The past couple years they've had a better sale to help clear out inventory on their wine. Just gauging everyones thoughts if you think this is probably the sale this year or there might be a better one coming soon. I'm hesitating as...

I'm not able to find that unit on Amazon. But that is what I'm looking for. I have all the parts from an all-in-one setup but the pump is failing so I want to find something stronger/better.

Can anyone recommend a decent vacuum pump that doesn't break the bank? Need to replace one that went bad and don't want the same thing.

These corks aren’t getting very good reviews, and not just with More Wine. I like the concept how they’re made but not sure. Thanks for sharing that.

I've been on Carolina Wine Supply, I don't think the small bags are their Select cork, just the same as the 1 1/2" you find everywhere, just longer. I might try what @winemaker81 said and see if they are willing to package smaller on some corks.

I really want to use a 1 3/4" cork, either Nomacorc or Diam would be great, but I'd like them to be chamfered. Unless you're commercial winery or you just make a lot of wine, buying in bags of 1000 just isn't practical. It seems like the industry doesn't care about home wine makers and they...

Where are you buying the DIAM corks? I've only been able to find them in 1000 count. I'd prefer in bags of 100.

I don't really have access to grape skins other than what I could order from FWK. Would those work or without fresh skins or crushed grapes would it be better to abandon this idea? Anyone with experience using the Mosto Bello juice and did you add skins or anything else?

I can't get any tartaric acid here until Tuesday so it looks like I'll be adjusting PH at the end of fermentation. Hopefully it'll be okay. I thought I had tartaric acid but only citric. Must have run out at some point and forgotten.

Yes, red grapes. So fermenting with ph a little high shouldn’t be a problem then. Good to know.
