I've only been making wine for three years now - and have yet to put a label on any bottle. I just change capsule color to keep track of what's what. I'll probably start labeling with this years crop now that it (at least in part) will be coming from my own grapes.

Nice post from Tablas Creek this week… he says they are about a month behind normal still (even after a week of 100 degree days). No signs of Veraison which normally comes mid July for them. I looked at my vineyard pretty carefully yesterday and zero signs of color anywhere...
