    Years back folks on here said not to reuse your yeast more than a couple of times as it could develop an off flavor. Can not say for sure as I have not ever used them over a couple of times. Arne.

    Crab apple wine - thoughts, tips, suggestions please

    I made some years ago. Did not come out vvery drinkable. After several years on the shelf it became really good. You do not want to bite into our crab apples tho. They are very tart, when they fall in the fall nothing eats them. Something about the freezing and thawing and late in the winter...

    Winding down with covid. Don't know where we picked it up but Kathy started with the coughin and hacking. Next day was my turn. Took a test and wasnt just a summer cold. Has not been too bad, cough fever, ache and really tired. Thank God we are fully vacced. Next shots are coming up next...

    boiled up all the waste parts of a deer once. Dog and cat loved it. They are both indoor outdoor critters. When fed that stuff, they would get banned to the outdoors. Worst farts you ever smelled and lots of them. LOL, Arne.

    MountaineerJack probably preferred dried elderberries as they don't have the green good that fresh ones do. Search the forum for "green goo". Doubt he used a lot of dried ones. He had pics of elderberries all over his property, think the driveway was lined with them. Pretty sure he used...
