    Wine kits on sale

That was one I purchased as well. Short the water a bit, EM for at least a month, and let it age for 3 years or more before you start tasting the occasional bottle.

Winexpert now only makes kits up to 14L

The jury is still out on the quality factor, as they haven't been out long enough for anyone to be sure.

WineXpert WE Private Reserve Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon

If it tastes ok to you then enjoy it. Water or not, it should still get better with age, so don't blow through it too quickly. Blending a watered down wine with one that isn't will just create something in between the two.

WineXpert WE Private Reserve Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon

After topping up with 3/4 of a gallon of water, it certainly wouldn't hurt. You're likely to have created Cabernet Lite* at this point, or 30 bottles of a decent base for Sangria. Never top with water. Always use wine, or rack down as a second option.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

    I'm giving them a try. I pre-ordered a couple of RQ's.

    Wine Kit Help

Don't get your hopes up. I have yet to find a decent kit version of a Petite Sirah. Mosti Mondiale has an ok rendition in their all-juice line, but it took three years of aging before it was remotely good, plus it's difficult to find for a reasonable price.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

For Winexpert kits, try Labelpeelers, for a better deal than the place in FL.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

This thread is about RJS RQ2021, not the Winexpert LE's. That explains the discrepancy in pricing. RQ's are $165ish shipped.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

They had issues with this website years ago, it got a bit ugly, so they became known as the unmentionable place in FL.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

The place in FL definitely does not include shipping, $165ish shipped to the Chicago area. I wish I had a local wine shop such as yours. They would be getting all my business.

Any thoughts on RQ 2021 release

I've been using them as well. Unfortunately they don't do pre-orders on the RQs. They will place an order for them late this year, but there's no guarantee they'll receive any.

    RJ Spagnols Super Tuscan

It should be good, as are most Mosti kits. I just don't get why they're re-branding them as MV.

    RJ Spagnols Super Tuscan

Did the label look like the one on JohnW's kit? If so, it would confirm that his Pinot is a Mosti kit, re-boxed as a Master Vintner.

    RJ Spagnols Super Tuscan

Anyone have a Mosti kit on hand? I'm betting the "Country of Origin" sticker looks just like the one pictured above by JohnW.

    RJ Spagnols Super Tuscan

In my experience with Master Vintner, every kit has been a repackaged RJ Spagnols kit, or more recently a Mosti Mondiale kit. There is no Master Vintner, it's just an attempt at marketing and building a new brand. Maybe one day Tim Vandergrift has plans to start processing juice, but at this...
