    They are not.

Other Juice in various kit levels?

No. Unfortunately the only way you're likely to create a ~$50 bottle of wine is going to work for a winery that already accomplishes that level of quality. If it was easy, everyone would already be doing it.

I wasn't asking, I was responding to @She'sgonnakillme. Not realizing there had already been several replies by the time I had done so.

I don't think 15 days is important, probably just a minimum. How are you going to measure SG without opening the fermenter and losing all your Co2?

Other Juice in various kit levels?

Obviously prices fluctuate throughout various countries and regions, especially in recent times. So comparing wine kits to certain price points of commercial wine can be quite vague. That said, based on USA pricing from a couple years back, you could expect a well crafted kit wine to produce...

RJS Super Tuscan & Oak Spiral type

Chips and powder go into primary. Cubes and spirals are added during bulk aging, to taste. Keep in mind that this has been consistently one of, if not "the" best wine kits available. It will turn out great, unless you go way too far with the tweaks, or really mess something up.

RJ Spagnols RJS En Primeur Italian Rosso Grande Eccellente

For reds, around 1 year in bulk, then at least 3 months in the bottle before we start sampling. Although bigger reds such as this one will get bottle aged quite a bit longer before we start to sample the occasional bottle.

RJ Spagnols RJS En Primeur Italian Rosso Grande Eccellente

It's definitely "Grande" so it takes at least a couple years to reach it's prime. But when it does, it's quite good. We made this one twice so far. Second round is due to bottle soon.

    Wine Kitz Airlock

The bucket is too small. Definitely poor advice from the brew shop.

Nice! I just wish they carried RJS. Although now that FW kits are out, it doesn't matter nearly as much.

The metal spigots are a nice upgrade, especially if you use your Speidel for bottling.

Might want to edit that one. One kid is ok, but two? :wy

    Other MV Cab Franc

Had to clean and re-fill my bottle (label remover) soaking bucket so it was a great opportunity to not waste 23L of water finding the 23L mark on a Speidel. If we assume my 2000ml beaker is fairly accurate, 11.5 fills brought my Speidel to the bottom of the ring, just above the label. The RJS...

    Other MV Cab Franc

All three of mine are the same as yours. @Bmd2k1 you might want to re-check your marks. At least if it's off you've been shorting the water rather than watering down your wine.
  18. B

    Other MV Cab Franc

Interesting. I have three of them, and all are identical with 23L being at the bottom of the ring, just above where your juice is at in your picture.
