    Anyone Growing Marquette Grapes?

I prune mine to 40 buds per plant and drop most 3rd bunches and harvest 15 pounds average. This year I will try to drop a few more and shoot for 12 pounds Ave. Hopefully no late spring frost damage this year.

    Help with small vineyard planning

My first wine from grapes was pure Marquette, wine was ok. Next time I added 30% petite pearl and wine was good. Now that I added verona to the mix the wine is outstanding. I'm no expert wine person just my opinion. If you are ever around the lake geneva area, pm me and we can taste...

    what would you charge?

I enjoy growing grapes, making and gifting wine. I made a mistake many years ago when I turned a motorcycle hobby into a business and ruined my riding enjoyment. As for me, I will keep wine making a hobby.

Poll: Of the wine you consumed this year, what % did you make?

My guess would be around 90%. . I really enjoy having blind tastings of commercial wine. I serve this to friends, ask opinions, then show them what they are drinking. This allows me to have an honest review of my wine.
