    Making first rose from Marquette and Petite Pearl grapes. I crushed, destined, pulled off juice within half hour after crush. Put juice in buckets and froze. Started fermentation and noticed juice is very dark. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks

    Secondary clusters vs primary

    I just finished harvesting my frontenac blanc, which froze bad. Primary were 27 brix and secondaries were 20 brix. After pressing juice was 22 brix. Probably should have done 2 pickings. I am glad yours are very close. Hopefully my marquette are like yours.
