Called Gino Pinto this morning and she said there will be no chilean grapes this year due to weather conditions...Corrados is sporatic at best and DiDonato and Europa don't get any spring grapes Im not sure what I'm going to do this year maybe just do some juice pails

I did a chilean Malbec last year that so far I am very happy with so I plan on doing the same this year with maybe a South African Cab. All grape but Im also planing on some major home renovations in the beginning of may so it all depends on the contractors time schedule.

Im making sangiovese from grapes right now I have 8 boxes and added 1 pail of zinfandel juice because Sangiovese grapes tends to be on the light side I used RC212 for yeast and plan on VP41 for MLF I believe this will make a real nice table wine.

I picked up my malbec today from Gino Pinto at 9:30 this morning the parking lot and loading dock was completely empty real strange site to see any way the fruit looked great hardly any raisined grapes and no rot at all

I spoke to Gino Pinto this morning and my chilean malbec grapes are in and Im picking them up tomorrow morning they also have yeast and liquid MLF bacteria if anyone is interested I already have vp 41 from morewine.
