WineXpert Stags Leap Ready to Bottle

Hi Bob, You say that the Stags Leap is ready to bottle. Also you're a little concerned about it being clear. Couple of questions. Did you bulk age it at all? When did you start the kit? I made one last year on month 9 of bulk ageing. I try to bulk age my reds for a year before bottling. Bakervinyard

    DangerDave's Dragon Blood Wine

Are you following the recipe and procedures to the tee or doing some tweaks and adjustments? Bill, I'm following to a tee for my first batch. One question, is my batch fermenting to slow or is it on schedule? Thanks, Bakervinyard

Working on my first batch of DB. Pitched my yeast last Thursday, O.G. 1.075, checked today it was at 1.016. Temps range from mid 60's before brew belt to low to mid 70's now. Sampled a little taste, nice fruity taste with a slight lemon finish. Looking forward to when its bottled. Bakervinyard

Just finished bottling a Wine Expert Vintners Reserve Pinot Noir, had an extra split left over. My better half said it was the best wine i've made yet. Pitched yeast on Feb. 4. 2013 and added 1 pound of raisins to primary. Bakervinyard

    Resanitize Bottles ?

I planned on bottling a couple batches of wine over the weekend and sanitized my bottles last Thursday night. Well life got in the way and I didn't bottle my wine. I sanitized them and then put them on the bottle tree, I didn't rinse them. Do I need to resanitize them or can I go ahead and...

Other What are your favorite inexpensive "everyday" kit wines?

Believe it or not but my "house" red wine is VDV, Merlot. Everyone enjoys it and my mother in law adds a splash of water to it, go figure. Just started 12 gals with a grape pack addition from my Merlot grapes from this past fall. Bakervinyard
