    The Blueberry

If you're in no hurry and it's just for you I would rack after fermentation and then again in maybe 5 months. Yes, I have to sweeten it if I want to sell it! For yourself I still think you would sweeten it a bit even it's a bit to balance out the acid.

I do not use any fining agents. Rack after fermentation, let it sit several months and filter with the largest filter you have. The first filtering may take a while. Blueberry could be ready in 6 months if you're willing to do the filtering.

    Vinmetrica Horrible Service

Sorry to hear this. My past experience has been just the opposite. They have been very receptive to helping me with any issues. Maybe something has changed or they are going through some personal change.

    The Blueberry

I can tell you I am getting about 200 gallons per ton with Blueberries. I make several different wines with it. Some are 100% blueberry and others I blend with another wine like Cayuga. If you really want to go out on the limb (and this is really expensive) I think one of the best blends was...

I agree with the cost. It is one of the most expensive fruits I buy.

    The Blueberry

I really don't understand why anyone is adding any water to these berries and diluting the flavor! I've been making a lot of Blueberry wines over the years and I have never added any water. Last week I crushed 4 tons of blueberries and they are currently fermenting away right now. I have tried...

    Bottle prep

Additionally there is wild yeast and bacteria that will get in the bottle possibly while sitting in the case.

    undressing...

I would soak, scrape of the label and not worry about the glue. Just place the new label over the same spot to cover up any residual glue.

    Bottle prep

With new bottles you have to at least rinse them at home. A lot of wineries do use them right out of the box but they blast them out with nitrogen or another gas first. The reason for this is to blow out any glass chard or cardboard dust (yes I have seen both). I store my empty bottles upside...

    Crying corks?

I think thats a good idea. Keep an eye on your bottles and if they continue to leak you may need to uncork and replace with fresh corks. Another issue can be bad jaws on your corker.

    shrink capsules

Presque Isle Wine Cellars has different size capsules. Personally I would sink the cork an extra 1/8 inch or so and fill the indentation with wax. Make sure you get good pellet wax made for doing this. There is a difference in the consistency. Presque Isle sells many colors of wax also.

    Your Favorite Wine Kit Manufacture

Wine Expert is the most popular Concentrate kit since it is in almost every store in part because their main supplier this carries this brand. I prefer kits from RJ Spagnals but the truth of the matter is the more you pay for a kit the better the quality is.
