    So I gotta say i was really pleased with Pintos, met the owner who was actually pulling grapes out of storage at 8am...think the fruit was better quality than corrados.... Question I have is on the crush....the better grapes seems to come away from stems better...i was using manual crusher. A)...

    For what it's worth, remember you are supplementing the natural sugar in the fruit with sugar you are adding to achieve a certain ABV....the fruit has alot to do with how much your gonna add to get to your desired SG(specific gravity).     Also, does adding sulphite change the ph slightly? After adding it went from 2.65ph to 3.58....thought that was odd...checked with 2 meters both calibrated ....

    Ok...so I got legit and bought a vinmetric analyzer...was getting near where I hoped to bottle my first grape wine from a bucket... 5 gallon carboy After adjusting acid I got it at 3.65ph Did the free so2 titration and came up with 22...
