Licorice, currents and cherry on the nose. Vanilla, cherries and Saskatoon berries? on the pallate. Weird but nice. Cheap in your country I'll bet. 14.5%
I was in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan when that happened (1300km or 800 miles away) . Several days later, the sun, sky and cars turned a funny brownish colour. Made me feel pretty insignificant in the scope of the incident. It looks very nice now.
Huh. I thought you wanted to discuss the quality of wine kits. It appears that you wanted to promote an organic propaganda, and didn't even comment on my response regarding wine kits. Sorry I bit on that.
Well, you had to dig around to find this one.
A while before this thread started, there was also a thread about wine kit manufacturers downsizing their kits and claiming to be better. I was one of the ones disputing this, as well as a skeptic of the "style" instead of "varietal" thing.

I don't normally see a $15 wine that doesn't have a screw cap (it's a synthetic though), and I'm shy of anything called "red blend" but it's Zin, Merlot and Cab Sauvignon on the back label, so I gave it a try. It's definitely Zin up front with lots of fruit, there's some vanilla and pepper from...
Our "castle in Kelowna" mission Hill Winery produces some nice wines. This is one of them. Black cherries, vanilla, chocolate and a hint of sage on the nose. Flavours of black cherries and a hint of coffee in this inky dark wine. Glad I got a few! 14%
A real amarone! Very intense on the nose and palette. Aromas of currants, black cherries, vanilla, leather. Not bone dry, and not hot, flavours of cherries, spices and plums and dark chocolate. 15% alcohol. Quite expensive for my budget.
Another Okanagan beauty! I'm glad we stopped at this proprietor run vineyard/Winery. This guy knows what he's doing! Very powerful dark wine. Currants, tobacco and vanilla stand out, and it gets right to the back of the palette. 14.8%
Will pair perfectly with fresh Moose tenderloin!
Rodney Strong, one of my favourite vintners. Zinfandel, one of my favorite varietals. 15% alcohol, jammy plums, cherries and raspberry but also cloves on the nose and palette. Yummy!
I can remember taping more than a few Canadian bills together when they were made out of cotton fibre. Our dollar is often considered "devalued" compared to yours. 💲😂
While I don't disagree with the other comments, in this case it might be a good idea to contact Winexpert. That's a long time for your kit to be abandoned on your front porch. I do wish that delivery agents would quit doing that!
After something similar happened to me, I learned the phrase "do...
