    Monty's Wine Making Process

Just wanted to give this a bump and see if anyone else wouldn't mind taking a read through my process and give any advice! I've got some parts highlighted that I need to research a big more to work out.

    Hi I'm Monty

This would be my first foray into Montepulciano, so I'll let you know how it goes! Always been one of my favorite commercial wines, although can be hard to find, so I decided to make 12 gallons of my own!

    Costco Wine Rack

Great call with the return policy! I think I'll buy 2 and test them out to see how many bottles I can safely store. Also, one thing I forgot to mention is that you can stack two Trinity units on top of each other. The reviews talk about how it comes with the connectors to do so. That would be...

    Costco Wine Rack

Well what I was actually thinking is buying 2 of these. Total would be $100 which is $20 less than the Seville on Amazon and I would have 8 shelves as opposed to 7. BUT if the Trinity rack is lower quality or can't stack as many bottles, than it might not make sense.

    Costco Wine Rack

I've seen a lot of posts about how good the Seville wine racks are from Sam's Club or Amazon. I'm a Costco member, and they carry a rack that looks a lot like the Seville. It is made by Trinity. https://www.costco.com/TRINITY-EcoStorage-4-tier-Chrome-Wine-Rack.product.100038719.html Has anyone...

Wow that is crazy...my first home winery was at 20th and Pemberton, right around the corner. Ten Stone was my spot for several years!

    Monty's Wine Making Process

@jgmillr1 ya know I almost didn't post my log, but I'm glad that I did. I did not create this log, and I've been using it for so long I have no idea where I got it from. I have not made any changes to it over the years, but I think it is about time that I do that. I very thoroughly fill it out...

    Monty's Wine Making Process

I am new to the forum, and one thing I wanted to do was get some feedback and critiquing on my wine making process. When I got started I found I was sourcing different aspects of my process from all different books, websites, or other sources. I decided I would document MY process so that I can...

    Hi I'm Monty

Hi everyone, I am a new member here, and wanted to introduce myself. I am from the Philadelphia area, and I've been making wine since 2012. I started out making it in the basement of a row house I was renting in the city. I had a pretty good operation going with the utility sink and the washer...
