    Post your labels here

I think the black and white look for that image / label gives it a simplistic elegance. I say fantastic job!

    What's in your glass tonight?

I picked up four of these on a whim from WTSO a few months ago. 2007 Chateau Coutet Barsac 1er Cru Classe. Never had it before and it's a wake up call. I didn't know much about it, but wow it's has a a very nice deep flavor and oh man is it wOOoOo sweet! It's very good, but wow was I not...

    Bye Bye, Photobucket

Yep, I jump through hoops for that also. Here is how I do it. 1. In Google Photos. Click on the photo. ( I was at the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL) today) 2. Click on the share button. 3. Click on the "Get Link" button. 4. Click Copy. 5. Paste that in a new URL address bar...

    What's in your glass tonight?

The other night I had a 2015 Orin Swift Abstract. (red blend consisting of Grenache, Syrah, and Petite Sirah) Very nice for it's price point. Good body, silky smooth, nice balance. Not overly bold, but just a very good easy drinking red blend. It won't knock your socks off, but you will take...

    Doubleback 2014 Stolen Horse Syrah

You at least have hairy hobbit feet to keep them warm right?

    Doubleback 2014 Stolen Horse Syrah

I might cry a river, they don't show having a single Chenin Blanc from Washington. What the hell!

    Building Hobby Vintner Software

Really, I just track what I do and the times I do it. This way if I end up with something really great (or really bad) I have a record of what I did and can use those records to guide what I do next time. Those who jot down their winemaking history are doomed to repeat when it turns out great!

    Columbia Crest's Crowdsource Cabernet

I saw the email. I haven't decided if I want to pull the trigger though. I ordered several of the 2014 vintage. It was good, but didn't blow my socks off.

    Building Hobby Vintner Software

Currently, I track my progress with batches in Google Sheets. This way I have access to the sheets anywhere I'm at and even on my phone. Then I use FermCalc app to deal with the math portion.

    Bye Bye, Photobucket

I use Google Photos. The best part is every time i take a photo with my phone, it automatically backs up to my Google Photos. You get unlimited storage too if you allow Google to optimize / compress the image in the cloud.

Are you using primer to help with the color change? That's what I always do if I had a strong color I had to paint over.

RJ Spagnols Foaming - Australian Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

As I said, I never had an issue except with the cherry wine. The cherry wine also had 12lbs of cherries in it also which made it's mass much more than your average 23L wine kit. I believe the 7.9 gallon bucket is probably the most common 23L wine kit fermentation container I've seen people...

RJ Spagnols Foaming - Australian Cabernet Shiraz Merlot

I don't use airlocks during primary fermentation. I just cover the bucket with the lid and do not snap it down. This allows plenty of air in during fermentation, but no dust, etc from getting in. Fermentation needs oxygen. I also keep my fermentor (my 7.9 gallon one anyhow) inside of a...

How much do you prep for bottling day?

I tend to rack and SO2 the week prior, then wash / sanitize the bottles just prior to bottling.

Ha, when I saw the Fox Photo I thought wow, that's been a while. Then I read the comments and that's exactly what you guys were talking about.
