Mid Atlantic North East Meet Up

As of yesterday, it became a whole lot less likely for me. I signed a contract on a new house, it closes May 31st, and my apartment lease ends on June 20th. I will be moving and cleaning up the apartment around that time. So yay, new home. Boo, not likely to be able to go to this event.

Are those actual foil (metal) caps? How exactly do you apply those? I bet they look much better than the shrink wrapped ones.

What to blend with Merlot (WE)

Many Super Tuscans are Sanginovese with Merlot/Cabernet/ or Syrah blends. (or just blends of the three latter must)

Nice! I got my license is 2014. (both tech and general) I didn't mess around with HF until around August 2016. I've been hooked on digital modes every since.

My GF (Ursula) has a business where she makes artistic candies and stuff. (like Cake Boss, stuff but with cupcakes and candies rather than full cakes) Anyhow, she is making these for one of her customers. It's half an chocolate egg (Easter stuff) stuffed with Brazilian Brigadeiro candies...

    Black Cherry or Pineapple?

I did an Pineapple, Mango, Lime wine that is extremely popular. I used Lime juice as the base, then pineapple and mangos. The pineapple is overpowering strong, so if you do it. Definitely more mango than pineapple.

Nice, I'm studying amplifiers now (well, and other components of making amateur radios) to get my (FCC) Extra license.

    I'm drunk!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say. It's likely we all do. When I first started making wine at home. I figured it was specific people and while that still might be true. (sensitively levels) I've found that the affects are different the next morning. Specifically, I'm talking about the...

    Issues with Label Peelers?

I've slowed down my wine production. (only 4 carboys with wine right now, but two waiting to start) I've always had great service with LP. They are my goto shop.

Saw this today. Awesome! At 94 million miles away, Kepler's interpretation of Earth as a bright flashlight in a dark sea of stars demonstrates the capabilities of its highly sensitive photometer, which is designed to pick up the faint dips in brightness of planets crossing distant stars...

How Long Do You Wait Before Drinking?

I just had a similar experience though I'm very inexperienced. One of the first wines I made was a chardonnay. Out of the around 32 bottles made. I drank them all within maybe five months since I had bottled it six months after fermentation. (so barely over a year old) I had a few 750s and...

A reply +1 to my Linux brethren. Up until about 3-4 years ago (when I joined executive management) Linux was my bread and butter. It was my professional career and obviously what paid my bills since late 1998. :db
