    Frozen Must

Thanks! With the frozen musts is there much concern about them being oxidized if they're 2 or even 3 years old?

    Frozen Must

Where is the best place to buy frozen must? I checked juicegrape*com and they have decent prices but the shipping is $60. I also looked at Mosti Mondiale but it doesn't look like their juice buckets contain skins. I'm looking for a must that contains grape skins. Not terribly concerned with the...

    Other unsweetening a wine

Young wines in general taste sweet/fruity. Let it age at least 3 months or more then resample it.

Flextank has a new 15 gallon vessel

How do flex tanks work? I understand there's some sort of membrane on top of the wine. I've looked at their website and youtube and such, I'd like to see a video of how the wine is sealed off from oxygen (like if the tank is 3/4 full)

    Will my experiment work?

Ok so I decided to do (6) 1 gallon batches. Although I only wanted to do 4 yeasts this will allow for 6. So I've decided to do DV10 Côtes de blanc (spelling?) QA23 W15 ICV D47 And...? I will do 1 full packet of each variety per container (assuming the yeast packets are all the same weight).

"Tips and tricks to using a whole house filter"

So I used a 1 micron filter on a pinot noir. I kept the racking cane off the bottom of the carboy, I got 28 perfectly clear bottles (the wine had already cleared and settled out) I then put the racking cane on the bottom of the carboy (with sediment tip) ran that through the filter also and got...

    Will my experiment work?

    Will my experiment work?

Long story short; I'm doing am experiment to see exactly how the yeast type affects flavor. I was going to buy a high end Gewurztraminer kit (my personal favorite). 6 gallons Split the kit into 4 batches to test the 4 yeasts. (1) 3 gallon container: (3) 1 gallon containers. I want all 4 to...

So it's now the 26th and I've been stirring the Pee every day and adding nutrient (a little) almost every day, the heating pad has kept it at a steady 80* and I'm only down to 1.020!
