    :) I had no idea.

    Kit Wine Taste

I'm trying to imagine this in terms of wine. So, a candy like a Jolly Rancher, or a Twizzlers, or something? Surely it can't be like a Snickers bar, or one of those crazy sour candies.

    Kit Wine Taste

I've searched around a bit, but I can't seem to find a clear answer. Just what does this "kit taste" taste like? How would you describe it?

    Sanitizing..,

There's nothing spooky about Star San. Read the label; it's basically phosphoric acid and not much else. Wines and beers that have any buffering capacity (i.e., all of them) are not going to see any pH changes due to a half teaspoon of mixed product in 5-6 gallons. The thousands of hobbyists...

    Sanitizing..,

Star San definitely has a taste when properly mixed. It's very acidic. You're better off not rinsing it off, regardless. It's specifically formulated to be no rinse. It does not leave any flavors when used as directed. The spray bottle approach is the best. Easy and cost efficient.

How about "MLFlovessorbate." Better? But in all seriousness, having started in the beer world a decade or so ago, Brett is magic.

    Winexpert Eclipse Three Moons

    First Big Investment - Input

I'm new to wine, but a long time brewer of beer, but I think I can shed some light on most of this. 1. The AIO wine pump has a filtering setup. It's detailed under the "accessories" part of the website. 2. A filter can do this, but only if you sterile filter. Coarser filters remove larger...
