    It was during the secondary fermentation in a carboy with the fpack, sorbate and kmeta mixed in for clearing. I then re racked and added some oak spirals. So about 2 weeks with a leaky stopper.

    How can I tell if my wine has been oxidized by a bad seal of the bung or air lock? If so is there anything I can do to correct it or is it just time to pour it out and start over.

    Right. This kit came with 4 packs of oak chips lol. It's pretty oaky but I wanted just a bit more.

    Yes there was some kmeta added after the fermentation when I racked it to to the carboy after the fpack(sweetener) to clear.

    Crisis averted...for now...checked this morning temp at 80 and fizzing like crazy. Thanks everyone . The must reaches up like 10 inches or so. I guess I could put it right in.
