    It’s not rocket science, I pour the f-pack into a container add a little at a time, stir, taste, add more if needed. At a half cup at a time I doubt you’ll over shoot your taste just my .02 cents

    Yes, I emailed the manufacturer and they said they stand behind their products and will replace if needed. I was just hoping there was a fix to possibly save the batch. I planned to let it sit for awhile an see what happens

    I degassed before I added the clearing agents but will try again and let it sit and see what happens. I have plenty of other bottled wine and plenty of time. Thanks for the replies

    Made a kit that that looked good until I added the clearifing pack now the Merlot looks like purple muddy water a week and a half after adding. The one packet was a little milky and my buddy at a beer and wine shop said I probably had a out of date bad pack and it’s probably not going to clear...

    Thanks for the quick responses. I haven’t any problem waiting 1-3 months at least to open the first bottle. I got 25 bottles out of 5 gallons and plan on saving at least 3-6 bottles for years to see how they turn out with aging

    I would assume they ship just about anywhere. One call to the number on their website and I’m sure they’ll answer any questions you have. They also have all the juices they have made into wine so you can taste test before you buy. Pretty cool, I know I’ll be buying from them again this fall.

    Can acid levels be adjusted months after fermentation and before bottling or can this only be done before fermentation? I have a Apple and Pear (currently bulk aging) I never checked the acid levels on and curious if they are at the suggested level before bottling.
