    I added 1 cinnamon stick per gallon to my first batch and it did take over. So this time I only added 2 sticks for 6 gallons. Hoping to have a little apple taste with cinnamon. Cant wait to try it!

    I am planning to add a couple of cinnamon sticks to my 6 gallons of apple wine. Do I need to add potassium sorbate? Making couple gallons dry and rest semi sweet. Wont be adding sugar a while though.

    I am making jack kellers lemon wine. I am to the point of adding the zest in the wine. I am grating the zest instead of peeling. That should not make a difference that i am grating should it?

    Thanks for everyones responses and suggestions. It seems that stirring with the coper pipe for 10 minutes eliminated the smell.

    Any ideas how to get rid of smell in peach wine? It has already fermented. Tried splash racking 4 times. Did not seem to help. Any other ideas?

    have made wine in this post minus the bananas. The bucket does not have any foam in it from fermenting. Cant tell if it is a stuck fermentation or what. I started the wine on Saturday. Added some energizer on Tuesday and still nothing today. Temp is pretty low, anywhere from 65-68 degrees...
