    Cottonwood Arizona Observations (so far)

Shhhh.... You don't want to expound on the great points of leaving SoCal.... you want to keep the new life a secret! :-)

Dilated pupils are so much fun! Can't wait until the A.M. when you ask, "I typed THAT?" The pic came across fine...

    What's in your glass tonight?

Went to a Cabernet blind-tasting not too long ago - Six wines priced from $16 - $60. The winner was the cheapest of the bunch, produced by the students at College Cellars. This is a two-year teaching winery for Enology and Viticulture. Good stuff and paired nicely with last night's steak!

    What R you doing today?

As an aside, a TotalWine insider once told me that the shelf tags are coded by color. Should you ask a question, you will always be steered to the beige tags as these wines are the ones they make the most money on. Perhaps the same bulk-bottled ones?

    Critter thread. Birds, Raccoons, Deer?

I recognize this - You should be using the SKS it attaches to as a back-up weapon! :)

Cellar Craft Cheapest website for Cellar Craft Showcase?

You're asking the same question that many of us are after the demise of a major supplier of kits at discount. IMHO, RJS EPs and RQs as well as WE LEs and Eclipses are all high end kits, and each has its distinction. I miss the ability to buy other kits at a decent price, so sadly, I have...

    What R you doing today?

Spending a few days in Cocoa Beach. Got to see the SpaceX launch of Falcon9 last night with first 60 Starlink satellites launched. Pretty impressive as this was my first live launch! There is a downside to this vacation though... it included a 3 hour timeshare presentation. We didn’t buy so all...

Amazon link to Lemon Juice without preservatives?

The local super (Kroger owned) has this - no preservatives. SKU included to assist. This is Lime Juice, but Lemon should also be available On the downside, it only comes in 16oz bottles

That sounds like it was / is tough. Loss of a loved one is something you never get over but you do get through it. My condolences. On a positive note, sounds like you got some tools that will bring many fond memories.

Wish I was going to be in WA on 6/15

Columbia Crest is one of the wineries I have yet to stop at. When we moved here ~5 years ago, there were 147 wineries within 50 miles of us. There's now 200+ and I'm falling behind. Thanks for this info - I'll make a note to plan a stop there.

    What R you doing today?

This is the first weekend dedicated to wines in a long while. Bottled the LE18 Fume Blanc yesterday, and will launch the RJS High Tail Merlot this afternoon.

    Is wine gluten free?

I bought a bottle of Fermax Yeast Nutrient recently that had "Contains Soy and Wheat" under the allergens notice. This could affect those with Celiac.

    Master Vintner Sommelier Select

It appears that Midwest Supplies has become the owner of Master Vintner products as any time Mastervintner.com is entered in the URL, Midwest's site comes up. During my first year of kit making, I tried a Sommelier Select kit. It was appropriately dubbed CR (Cost Reduction) as I was trying to...
