Not sure what happened but I am back to $325 needed! I had kept watching e-mail to see who had done the last $350 to finish it up and didn't see any. Seems must be nobody did! Either that or JohnT REALLY didn't want to model the T-shirt. LOL

NorthSlope don't water back too much just lower the alcohol since you will lose flavor, etc and make it thin. When it gets a couple years old the alcohol blends in better and you don't notice it.

Yes if the vine grows well this year and makes it to the top wire by some time in early to mid July pinch the tip off near the wire and that will force some lateral shoots to grow which then later can be used to lay down the cordons. Don't rush into laying them down because they could break...

If wildlife is a concern the tubes will help with the smaller ones like rabbits and woodchucks. Deer just wait for them to grow out the top and then feast on them. If wildlife is not a problem the benefits are very slight.
