    Pruned Marquette vines

For what it's worth. I went from TWC to VSP and found it much more manageable. I'd give it two years to learn since first year will be in establishing strong trunk and maybe a short cordon (if trunk material is thick enough). You don't want to start cordon as pencil thin stock - it's better...

    Anyone Growing Marquette Grapes?

FYI - I went the other way from TWC to VSP for my Marquettes and Frontenacs. So vigorous they spill way over lanes between rows on TWC making it like a jungle tunnel. For the hobbyist, I think that VSP works so much better. Good luck

    Heaters

I had considered aquarium heater but safety plus other concerns kept me from doing so. My solution was to get a couple of sheets of rigid foam insulation to make an incubator box which can readily be heated with a couple of 100 watt light bulbs (I used three ceramic sockets mounted on a peace...

    Wine bottle shortage?

I used to put bottles in the oven but find it easier to put a small amount of water into bottle and put it in micro-wave for a minute. ninety nine percent of labels peal right off easily. sometimes there's some glue residue left which i use VM&P Naptha. this cleans readily, not as problematic...
