And as soon as the vines start growing out of the top of the grow tubes those tick carrying good for nothing vermin deer will become a main problem. What I do is tie the vines to the support poles and try not to let anything hang, with mine if it hangs its gone. I trained my Petite Pearl up...

I have a food-saver vacuum sealer. I put the opened bags in ziplocks and then in vacuum seal bags. I keep them all in the basement with the rest of my wine making supplies.

Use to be lot of Italians in Brooklyn, if there are still deli's or markets you can always ask there.
