I don't doubt you... but I can tell my 3 yr old that broccoli are "magic trees" and they go from "Yuck, I'll never eat that" to "WOW! I want MORE magic trees"... I suggest a blind taste test. You supply all board members with samples of your wine ;)

Thanks! So far so good. I love the sound of fermentation bubbling in the basement. I'll be sure to ask if I have any more issues with this. I've never made a port before so this will be interesting and at least it was FREE!

Yup, his company has more bridges down there to do. He worked on a little bridge for about a month last summer... Surrounded by Amish. He'd get off work, change his boots, and fish for 2 hours until dark. He LOVED it down there!

Yes... but a lot more of the wine I make "disappears" from my house when people visit me. I find a balance in drink vs. age wines by alternating kits and splitting kits. If it is something I want to keep and age I might add more stabilizer to the batch before bottling or letting it bulk age...

I have found that the longer I make wine I acquire more equipment I "want" than equipment I "need"... Things that make life easier (drill mounted equipment, etc). However, I also snuck another 3 gallon carboy into the house tonight... but I NEED it so I don't have to wait 6 months to get all...

All you Pennsylvanians are coming out of the woodwork! LOVING IT! Gas is like playing roulette... I "love" when I fill up and the next morning gas is down 10c... or a recent trip to Ohio (I forgot how bad our tax is here) and when I hit the Ohio line BAM gas was 60c cheaper but I had 3/4...
