    well, i've not fermented anything in a while...nothing since the strawberry breeze...i bought 15lbs. of triple berry blend at sam's today! blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry blend. i think this will be a fun one!!!

    well, it's official!:) i entered the peach, the blackberry, and the beaujolais! 5$ per entry. i must have been the first one to enter, because the restaraunt manager had to get the entry forms faxed to her! (she was very helpful and excited for me, lol) i also found out there are 8 judges...

    it's in paducah, roger, at the pasta house company. entries due by the 11th and the awards the 16th or 18th? i came home sick (sick sick) last night:( so i didn't check the beaujolais. i may take both and decide when i get there? this is a different part of this adventure!

    thanks for my well wishes:) the lambrusco is 1.000 so this would go in the dry category? it's very smooth with on odd spicy quirk, lol. my friend who loves dry reds says it's a little sweet for her?? i used a wine conditioner and oak in the lambrusco. i will check the beaujolais tonight...

    ya'll continue to be AWESOME! i didn't know about the instant "age"/freeze trick, but i agree with winemaker, our whites are still a little "green", but, i think that will be my first "great" wine:) the entry fee is 5$ per entry, so 30 if u did each category, but i don't have enough for every...

    Saving slurry for Pee

    lon, can slurry sit on the counter at 72 degrees and be safe for a while (like a couple of weeks, lol)....i forgot to put some in the fridge:(

    well i found a local store with pumpkin ale, but i still haven't tried it yet. the peach beer seems pretty weak. i've yet to have the expert (my dad) try it.
