Greetings!! So a buddy who tried his hand at wine making and failed, passed along a Niagara Mist kit that he had sitting for a while...my question is, do these kits have an expiry date?? I can't see nothing on the box and I'm guessing it's been sitting for at least a year!! Should I go...

So...my first kit...last night would have been 5 days...this morning I woke and noticed I could hear no more fizzing...took a look...and I was right!! What the hell...might as well measure...0.998!!! I suspect that is cool...or what?? ROFL!!! Cheers!!!

Excellent!!! I'll keep it upstairs until the kit is "finished" then I'll probably rack again for some bulk aging...moving it downstairs for that...how does that sound for a plan?? Cheers!!

And space I think is gonna become an issue...leads me to a question... Once I move from my primary to the secondary, can I keep that carboy lets say downstairs where it is a bit cooler??? Would that affect anything??? If not...then yipee!!! I have the whole basement!! She never goes down...

Well...went down to the local establishment... and came home with a Winexpert kit...World Vineyard Italian Sangiovese!!! It was a toss-up...hard to choose when you want alot more than one ROFL!!! Anyhoo, planning the second kit already...and the 3rd and 4th!!! Already mixed it up...
