    Fortify with Brandy

This what I do, but I'll usually back sweeten with a little simple syrup or wine conditioner. Some sorbate should prevent fermenting in the bottle.

Finer Wine Kit Experiment with yeast starter

Thought I'd share. I've been making FWK kits with a yeast starter recipe from MoreWine. Their recipe using Go-Ferm and Fermaid-O. I wanted to see if it made a difference from using the chems provided by FWK. This made a fine starter, kicked the yeast off in just a few hours, must fermented...

    My pumping system

I have something similar and am also satisfied with it. Not using an AIO pump, but I am using their filling equipment. The filling wand is an excellent tool.

Marijuana surpasses alcohol in daily use for Americans, study finds

Yeah, think I'll stick to cigars. My brain is screwy enough w/o smoking pot too.

    Finer Wine Kit disappointing color/body

You might consider something like ColorPro to help leach color from the skins pack.

Thanks Jim, your directions are interesting and something to think about. Also, Forte or Tavola?
