    That is good news, so basically I could share the wine with my cousin when he comes to visit towards the end of September.     Thanks Jim, I hope to make a great wine as well as make new friends. I used to think traveling around to winerys and tasting wine was a good hobby but now I want to take a bigger step and make my own. Just wish I was retired and could dedicate more time to it. Bobbie

    As a new wine maker, how soon after bottling the wine can a bottle be opened. I heard something about bottle shock if opened before two weeks after the bottling.
