I get almost everything from Duffy’s Beer in Pleasant Hills. It’s a massive beer warehouse but they have a well stocked aisle for home brew/winemaking.

I did this earlier in the summer. My plan was to flavor and carbonate like a hard seltzer but I instead just bottled it flat & plain and then mixed with flavored sparkling water. It actually wasn’t that bad!

Seems like a more complex version of the app I use, EnoFile. EnoFile has some major flaws but it’s simple enough to use to keep track of the steps. It automatically syncs to my iCloud calendar which is nice.

I just ordered my first juice buckets. 12 gal of Viognier and 12 gal of Riesling. Having only made red wine kits so far I’m not 100% sure what I should have on hand once I receive the buckets.. Yeast, GoFerm... do I need Bentonite? Advice is greatly appreciated!

There is a place in Florida that most people on this site dislike that has it for $122. Shipping to my house is $30. $200 is insane for a wine kit edited to change “hate” to “dislike”

My thoughts are that the labels would go right in the trash!

I’ve had a terrible time with leaks.. It worked well for a while but eventually just started leaking every time.. makes quite a mess!

Received my order today and added to 6 gal of WE World Vineyard Cabernet that needs “help”. @Mike - Next Level Oak was great to deal with and he shipped the product super fast. I’ll taste test in a week and report back!

I guess I should have been more clear. There was no wine loss —and I did control the vacuum once the foam reached the top.. I just meant that normally it would have come out of the top of the carboy and made a mess but instead the small amount of foam that made it up the neck went into the...
