Not sure if anyone has posted this. Says it was announced in June. The only one that doesn't say "style" is the Italian Sangiovese Merlot. I didn't know RJS sourced any juice from Italy.
Here's a sneak peak on the RQ releases:
Alsatian Style Riesling - Undeniably aromatic, Alsatian style Rieslings burst with charm and character. Its refreshing palate and versatility in food pairing are what appeals to wine enthusiasts.
Chilean Style Cabernet Sauvignon - Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon styles are known to range from fruity and approachable for everyday occasions to big and bold wines with plenty of “wow” factor. Includes GenuWine Winery Dried Grape Skins.
Australian Style Grenache Syrah - A respected leader in combining tradition with new ideas, the Australian style Grenache Syrah is the perfect example of an innovative wine style. Includes GenuWine Winery Dried Grape Skins.
Italian Sangiovese Merlot - Combining old world charm and new world flair, Sangiovese Merlot styles are blended to create wines with soft texture and are more approachable in their youth.
New Zealand Style Pinot Gris - Rich, flinty, and fruity in character, New Zealand style Pinot Gris are easy drinking and approachable. Known for their beautiful blend of ripe tropical fruit, all the flavours are subtle on the palate.

I noticed the 2013 RQ lineup this morning. If I am not mistaken an "alsatian" style riesling is a dry riesling. Winexpert did this a few years ago. I would like to try a dry riesling. I also noticed there was no "style" listed on the sang-merlot blend. A Super Tuscan sourced from Italy also interests me. I also noticed on their site that 2011 RQ Toro(Tempranillo-Grenache) is added to their Cru select line. My Toro is now 1 year old and is really starting to drink nice. Very interesting RJ Spagnol news today.

Well I'm disappointed. "Style" usually means that the grapes/juices were not sourced from the country/region mentioned. In the past, I don't recall the use of "style" in the RQ kits. This doesn't mean that they will be bad wines, but may mean (at least IMO) a lessening of the RQ quality.

I don't know, Rosso Fortissimo is pretty good Super Tuscan "style" wine souced from Washington State, not Tuscany Italy. The quality of RJS wines, especially the RQ's have been pretty good. I really don't have any reason to believe that will change.
