2021 California Grape prospects

Afternoon all,
Starting to plan for the fall and grape orders.
Each year we bring in some old vine Zinfandel from Lodi. Year to year can be pretty variable. I am reaching out to those of,you in the know how is the season looking so far this year.

Im in the Sierra Foothills (Loomis) and the grapes look good. Plenty of good fruit. In fact, we dropped fruit last week, just to make sure we can achieve ripeness.

Thank you NorCal. That helps a lot. I was wondering if you guys were getting the punishing heat we received the last couple of weeks and how it would impact the grapes. We were over 110 f a couple of days.

We are increasing the water this week by 50%
