I normally use Taxact, which is cheaper if you only e-file one return. But, I do it for my parents and kids, so e-filing 5 federal returns is what I get. That costs $20.

For $22.50 (1/2 off the $44.95 price), you can get the Deluxe + State. That comes with 5 free federal e-files. It doesn't say what a State e-file costs, but you can print and mail the State Return.

For $17.50 (1/2 off the $34.95 price), you can get the Deluxe federal only version with 5 free federal e-files.

Unfortunately, HR Block does not import from Taxact.

If you have a basic return, Turbotax online is free Federal and State.

I use freetaxusa.com No matter what your income is, it's free and I do mine, my son's, daughter's, brother and 2 nephew's taxes with no problem.

I'll think about them for next year. For some reason (hacking), I prefer doing taxes on my computer, rather than online. Desktop also is faster, although websites are serving faster now.
