Oh no how much damage did they do?

They're just getting wound up, but it looks like they might peak with the red raspberry bloom this year. This is season 3 for my raspberry patch and they are doing very well. In prior seasons the jbs were ending when the berries were starting to bloom.

There's no way to kill them before they emerge? Na no way...how about protective netting over plants.
