We visited one of our local wineries today and enjoyed a sparkling wine tasting. They took a bunch of their fruit wines and gave them lots of bubbles. A few are part of the normal line up, but most are experimental and they are testing the market. Some, the Cranberry, Semi Dry Blackberry, Cat 5, Coco Polada, Cocoa Beach, and Banana were outstanding. The Hot Sun was just awful and others not bad but kinda forgettable like the Kiwi and the Guava. All and all we had fun and can't wait for them to do this again, but next time I'll bring my own crackers and stay away from the Hot Tomato Wine!

NW and Wade tough me how to Make bubbly wine.....

I have 3 different types done and must say that I love the way the bubbles give the wines a very different taste....... a much better taste.

I have a bunch of champagne bottles that I will someday get them all filled................ but they empty soooooooo fast.........

I was really surprised at what a difference it made in the Orange Chocolate. I have never been able to taste the chocolate until they made it into a sparkling wine. Same formula they just added bubbles - really amazing. We pick up a couple of bottles every year of the Cat 5 Wine (think hurricanes) and open 1 when we are ready for hurricane season and 1 to celebrate surviving through the season. Boy if they made that in a sparkling I'd just bring a keg for them to fill, well maybe 2, that orange chocolate was pretty good!
