Adding K-Meta to a one gallon batch

The instructions on my package of K-Meta powder says to kill wild yeast add 1/4 tsp per 6 gallons. I can do the math, but I'm at a loss as to how to measure out a 0.042 tsp dose. How much K-Meta do you add to a 1 gallon batch?

One easy trick is to add 1/4 tsp to, say, 1/2 cup of water. Then take 1/6 of that and add it to your wine. 1/6 * 4 fl.oz. = 2/3 fl. oz., which is 4 teaspoons.

Using a sub-gram scale and granulated k-meta, .2-.4 grams is about 25-50 ppm
