My online retailer has this kit on sale for $97.67 and I think it is the Selection type. I am going to jump on this one over the RJS Winery Series Amarone.

I'd like some feedback on it and what yeast it comes with and if swapping or not.

I have this kit fermented and ageing in my basement right now. It tastes fairly good, but should be better in a year or so. That is a really good price for that kit. I don't remember (or have written down) what yeast it came with. I generally don't keep track of that for kits. I don't think it was 1118. Maybe RC-212. There is a thread where Joe's wine makes this kit. I bet there is a picture of the yeast packet. I am going to be adding a bit of finishing tannin and maybe some extra oak to it.

BM4X4 is a good one to consider if you are going to do a swap.

Jim, I agree 100%, I used 2 different yeasts on 2 Juice buckets and there is a noticeable difference in the finished wine, I'd go for the BM4x4, make sure that you have Fermaid K as it will require nutrients.
Varis, I'd personally wait until the fall and buy a 6 gallon Juice bucket Amarone for $65.00, add 9-10 lbs of fresh crushed grapes, you'll have total control over the entire wine making process and create a wine that you won't want to share for fear of running out!

Thanks guys.
Tom, I've been putting off in making an Amarone for some time now and would like to start one soon, not sure if I want to wait till fall though.
Maybe I'm jumping on this sale now and make a juice bucket in the fall....
