Yes they are but you would have to travel a ways. Luva Bella has them. Check out their web site and call before you go.

A coworker told me that one place in the strip district still had buckets. Not sure which one I believe it was Goosman Produce. He told me they were selling their pinot grigio buckets for $20.00 . I can only imagine they would be well on the way with fermentation at this point.

Don't know how far you are willing to travel, but I was at L'Uva Bella in Lowellville, OH (near Youngstown) on Saturday and they had a few left. They are fairly well picked over, but if you call them and reserve them they would probably hold them for you. You may need to give a Visa number, but they are very nice people.

Like Doug says, they are well on their way regarding fermentation. From Nanticoke, you may be ready to stabilize by the time you get home. :)

I talked to Cooseman's Produce the other day. They said that all of their whites are gone, but they have a few reds left. I asked if the buckets were fermenting. They lady that I talked to said that you could drink them while you were driving home.

Here's a list (as of this morning) of what L'uve Balle has

L'uva Bella - 5 Carignane, 4 Malvasia, 2 Vieux Chateau du Roi, 6 Chablis, 1 Malvasia Bianca, and 1 Palomino

Mosto Bello - 6 Brunello (Sangiovese grape), 3 Lambrusco, 9 Melavasia, 2 Meritage, 10 Verdicchio, 9 Soave Classico, and 4 Vermentino.

62 buckets left.

you can always order frozen from someone like M&M...I believe they just recently released their 2011 list and there were a lot of buckets for less than $100. paulc

I called Brehm yesterday, and talked to Peter Brehm. He said that almost all of their 2011 red buckets are gone, except for a Petit Verdo and Pinot Noir. Even their whites are going fast.

Looks like the short harvest season had a big impact.

Had them put on hold some buckets for pickup week of 12 Dec 11

On a good note, I opened the first bottle of my zin that I bottled a month ago, and it tastes pretty good.
