Are my vines over clustered???

Is there a rule of thumb for how many clusters of grapes you should allow on a vine? And can I prune clusters out mid-growing season? See pic.

I have the same question for my 3-yr old Marquette. what variety do you have and how old are the vines?

Marquette can handle as much as 25 lbs per vine from my experience. Last year I thinned a couple rows to one cluster per shoot ans an experiment and it didn’t make a difference . Vern tried the same thing once and he had the same result. Your three year old vines don’t have the root system yet to support a large crop, next year will probably amaze you. Vinifera grapes seem to be more sensitive to thinning than hybrids from what I’ve read anyway.
