Lol, I know I got a lot of attention on that line!

I was talking to Runningwold earlier today, (He is out shopping, I really wonder what Sue offer him to get him to go shopping all day. On second thought I'm not thinking I should go there :<). Anyway, he was telling me that Macy has a pile of wine related Christmas decorations for sale there, actually they have a whole tree decorated with wine related decorations.

Julies they were very nice tree ornaments at Macy's and they are on sale over 60% off. Oh yeah while out shopping I met Mr Guard Rail. He insisted on taking my front and back end by the time I got done spinning around. It was a bit greasy out and more snow to come.

Running wolf i had to laugh at your mishap....mr guardraill..
i mean no ill respect, it was you handle it so non chalantly...like it happens all the time...
Can you take out extra insurance for snow are ice damage..i really dont know.....its something we dont have, (snow)
It has snowed here twice in 140 years.

Julie, thanks for the tip, have to go a store near macys, pick up some of those for gifts...

Thank Dan, James, lol, he was the one risking his life to check out those prices!!! I think I am headed there this afternoon.

Of course I was sick to my stomach when it happen. Very busy highway and very poor road conditions and visibility. First accident in 20 years. I couldn't move the ignition and car wouldn't start. That was until three young awesome kids stopped by and mentioned putting the car in park from drive. I was too startled to think of that. So when I was able to drive home and this morning think about all the "what if's" I thought about how dang lucky I was and just move on.

James the roads can be very dangerous with the snow and ice and accidents and off running off the road is common occurrences. The difference between snow related accidents and bare road accidients is that they are not usually as severe. You are traveling slower for one thing and if you did hit another car, after the impact the cars slide some taking up some of the force. Of course this is true with many winter accidents but yes there are always others involving injuries or death.

They have the Wine ornaments at Macy's online as well. 50% off plus take an extra 15% off with coupon SUNDAY!

Glad you weren't seriously hurt Dan!

Bummer, Dan. I am glad no one was hurt. And, like James, your description of the unfortunate deed made me laugh (not at the incident, but the description).

Dan
I am glad that everyone is ok and vehicles can always be replaced.
Atleast you have a good excuse not to go shopping in the near future - I believe it is shopping phobia - So I would stay home and relax !:dg

Thanks Eveyone. The bad thing is, I was returning home from a Christmas party. The good thing is, I ate plenty and only had two glasses of port and drank pop the rest of the night. Alcohol played no pary but it doesn't look good.

im glad u and yours are ok...im curious, will insurance pay for somethning like that.....here if you hit a guard rail, when it rains...insurance doesnt cover it, and you have to pay for the guard rail.

Yes they will minus your deductible. The state cops were called but once I was able to drive it away I called them back and they cancelled the call. What Guard Rail? It happened up the road officer and there isn't a mark on it.
