Huge AC/DC fan, huge G&R fan. ...this? Not so much. Axl should have used his own voice and not tried to mimic Brian Johnson. It's a bit difficult to listen to.

Yeah, he broke a bunch of bones in his foot, but they won't say exactly how he did it..

He's channeling Dave Grohl.

(If you're not a Foo Fighters fan, Dave is their lead man and guitar player, and former drummer for Nirvana. He broke his leg during a show last year - finished the show, then they built a 'throne' for him to sit on for the rest of the tour. Word is Axl is using that exact seat, minus the decorative Foo background that was built for Dave. )

I watched video of them doing "Shoot to Thrill" last night. Axl sounded OK, but not great to me. Then again, Brian Johnson's voice is pretty much one of a kind. But I think he did B-in-B pretty well. Yes, he's covering, but he's on it.

Brian Johnson is about to go deaf. Evidently, getting out of touring will help him prevent that from happening.

Brian Johnson was told by his doctor if he performs anymore he will go completely deaf.

The odd thing is, AC/DC didn't even discuss the issue with Brian. They basically just shipped his things to his house in Florida without even speaking to him. Basically kicking him out of the band without even a text message. Angus and the rest of AC/DC are saying they didn't fire him and that it was Brian. Yeah, that isn't what Brian is saying. He said he just step down to assess the situation, but planned on remaining with the band.

heh looking at AC/DC's history. They aren't exactly a moralistic group of people.
