Mixed a little banana wine and honey mead as an experiment. Sure was good so I decided to start a banana mead.

50lbs bananas, frozen.
In separate container
11 LB 5 oz honey
Water to 5 gallons
Ec1118 yeast

Once the honey was mixed with the water I dumped it into the bucket with the bananas and added the yeast.

Hope it tast3 as good as my “test”
 
Bottled on 8/28/19. Had some leftover and decided to chill it and taste. Oh my, if past improvements on others works on this one it will be a fantastic tasting mead in about 6 to 9 months.
