Best training stake?

Hi , looking for what everyone uses for training new vines? Many of my bamboo stakes have broken after one or two years.
needing about 3000 so looking for economical solution.

I used five foot pieces of rebar - I’m able to get them pre cut at a local vineyard supply shop.

Economical? Perhaps not in that volume. The shop also offers what they call a pencil rod which is thinner and cheaper. I didn’t use them as they were sold out in the five foot length but they are back in stock now.

Being a former concrete contractor, I used 3/8 rebar. You can get about 800 pieces 6'6" in length Per ton. Cost is approximate $1.50 per piece. Last forever.

Ok, thank you. I will be on the look out for a metal chop saw, and start hoarding rebar.
