I got an email promo for this kit.
I've never made wine from a kit before as I always buy the 6-gal plastic pails already with yeast in it.

Price is $44.99 and shipping is $15.26, making it $60.25.

I think 7.5L is about 6gal, right?

Anyway, I've tried Pinot Noir in the past but this Blueberry Pinot Noir.
I wonder how long it could be ready to dring.

Comments, likes, dislikes?

I have this one is bottles right now. Don't waste your money, Varis. Not a very good kit. I even used whole blueberries in the fermenter to bump up the flavor, to no profit. Let the price be your guide with most kits.

6 US gallons is 23 litres. The 7.5 L kit makes 6 US gallons because you add about 15 litres of water.

The is one of those Mist kits. You either love 'em, hate 'em (like dangerdave), or have friends/family that love 'em (like most of us).

The wine is low alcohol (6-7% probably), and sweet. It is usually marketed as a refreshing summer drink over ice. But there are lots of people who drink these wines year round.

It's not really a Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir forms the base, and a lot of blueberry flavouring is added on top. Leaving the flavouring/sweetening out would probably result in a very poor Pinot Noir.

Generally speaking, this kind of kit is not worthy of aging and is ready-to-drink shortly after bottling. I like to give them a month in bottle, and usually make as about a 6-week kit.

If you're not familiar with this 'genre', check out Arbor Mist or Wild Vines at your local commercial wine store.
