My 5gal batch of blueberry wine from puree has been bulking aging for a few weeks with no clearing agents, lots of sediments so I want to rack and possibly back sweeten it now.

Once racked to a bucket for stirring, do you guys add the honey directly to the carboy and stir vigorously?

I want to make sure it blends throughout in the wine.

I have about a liter of honey. Would like to raise SG to about ~1.008

.

Do not backsweeten untill the wine is clear. When it no longer drops any sedament then you can backsweeten. After adding sulfa and sorbate. Otherwise it will just start fermenting again.
Warm the honey in a little wine untill disolved. Then mix in the big jug. Otherwise it will not fully mix in.
