Ok...just got home from an outing to the Waterloo Container Company. Nice folks, very helpful, and way too many bottles to choose from! I'm especially fond of the green 1 gallon jugs. It was difficult but I resisted!

The prices are good and the best part is that I can fit 5 cases of wine bottles in my little car! I could actually have gotten a 6th one in If I'd needed to.

It's a beautiful day for topless driving!

I'm glad you finally made it over there. Some day I need to make a trip out to my brother's place and go the few miles to Waterloo. Yes it was a beautiful day for topless driving. I don't understand why everyone kept staring at me as they passed by though. Did you get any stares Joan?

About 2 weeks ago I was driving down a state road... this guy walked nonchantly to the edge of the road, bent over double and dropped his drawers to the ground.......... That was not a pretty sight......

That's funny Wade because I typed in the same exact thing last evening and then deleted it because I figured maybe he was making a joke out of it. We have to stop thinking alike!

Joan,

Next time you go topless driving, try doing it in a convertible.

Hehehe Peter, see that little picture near my name? That's my daily driver and I drive topless in it when ever I possibly can! It's the only way to drive!

I lugged home 39 bottles from the recycling center today. Not a bad catch for not asking them to save any. I usually only find 4-5 a week and was not looking for to many as Im pretty stocked but they were there and my hands were empty so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must live in a good wine drinking area. I've been getting about 20 bottles a week from our recycling area. He even offered to pay for the wine I gave him! My son is coming from southern Wi next week and he said he is bringing 12 cases of empties so I guess I'll have to cancel the recycling center saving! I've got 3 empty 6 gallon carboys so I had better get busy!

If I ask i get way more then i want to deal with as i already have an abundance. This is just what didnt get dumped in the last 1/2 hour. The last time I asked I came back to 113 bottles and i dont want to have to deal with that many dirty bottles at once nor do I want to leave them around being all nasty. Im at the point where i really dont need any more bottles but like an addict I cant just leave them there to be thrown away.
